On your first visit the receptionist asks you to fill out a confidential information form. (Medical information given to us is not released without your permission.)
We treat your decision to talk with us about plastic surgery with sensitivity and confidentiality. During this first visit your questions and concerns are addressed in an open discussion of options, surgical procedures, and related costs to help you make a well-informed decision.
Following your consultation, if you and your doctor decide that surgery is indicated, you may schedule a date for your operation. You may be asked to return to the office to see the doctor several days before your operation for a preoperative history and examination. This allows you to ask any additional questions you may have. Because of the specialized nature of plastic surgery, photographs are sometimes taken. These pictures are part of your confidential medical record.
